Yet another HQ wagon
John brought the car to us with a 9 inch already fitted, and a 680 hp Mast Motor Sport LS7 to be fitted
Trans is a Chuck Mann built TH400 with a tci 2800 rpm convertor
We fitted it all together and built a twin 2.5” exhaust system
We used a link computer to control the engine and fuel system. The coils were mounted inside the front guards for a cleaner look and a Commodore OTR air cleaner was made to fit.
Now that we’ve tuned it and sorted everything out, John has an awesome undercover weapon. Running 11.0s, and handling well with upgraded sway bars/shocks etc.
This car gave a lot of people a shock on its first outing at the Father’s Day Drags.
It’s a real sleeper.
Just wanted to say a massive thanks to Russell and his team with building a very cool and fun wagon for me. The brief was simple, make it cool and make it go fast. The Toy Shed delivered on all of that and more. It is one very special car and always draws people to view it. The workmanship is of a very high standard along with the fantastic relationship you get to build with Russ and his talented team. Many thanks Russ and look forward to what the next project I can get you to build.
