The black case is great for dissipating heat allowing the sensors to acclimate to actual weather conditions faster when its removed, as well as minimizing the amount of dirt viewable. The case is padded to help in absorbing any shock of being dropped and it comes with a velcro top for easy removal and security. The case also has a velcro belt loop allowing you to easily carry around the staging lanes.
