Pistol Grip Shifter Handle & Stick Suit 1970-74 E-Body & 1971-74 B-Body With Console
Pistol Grip Shifter Handle & Stick Suit 1970-74 E-Body & 1971-74 B-Body With Console
In 1970, Chrysler introduced some big changes for the Dodge and Plymouth brands. The first was the all new design of the Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Barracuda models. The second was that these 1970-1974 E-bodies and also 1971-1974 B-bodies with bucket seats with/without a center console could be had with this must have option, the Hurst Pistol Grip shifter. Hurst and Chrysler engineers had been working together for some years previously, but the new "Pistol Grip" was something of a revelation in the automotive industry. It became one of the most iconic features of both the Hurst brand and the Dodge and Plymouth cars back then. Today, we're carrying on the tradition and still offer the iconic Pistol Grip shifter handles that still use most of the same design and tooling that was used on the early Pistol Grip shifters, to manufacture these reproduction Hurst Pistol Grip handles and sticks. Using most of the same materials and construction methods but with one main difference; these reproduction handles incorporate Hurst's standard 2-bolt connection. These handles will fit on ANY Hurst aftermarket shifter that has the Hurst standard 2-bolt connection for the shift stick. These shift sticks will look right at home in any number of Mopar cars, from a 1970 Dodge Challenger to any other number of classic or modern day Mopar cars equipped with an aftermarket Hurst Competition/Plus shifter or Hurst Billet/Plus shifter. Add some history to your ride! Note: Will also fit 2008-2020 Dodge Challengers with a Hurst Billet/Plus shifter.
